                                 LENIN HAS JUST BEEN OVERTHROWN IN KIEV

 As reported,  last Sunday, after Ukrainian council, a group of unknown people tried to topple the statue of Lenin , however, is limited only to the inscription in white paint "Glory of the nation ."

 Through the actions of the police, who took to the ring monument, monument damage did not happen.

 The monument was installed December 5, 1946 . Figure of Lenin made ​​of polished red granite , 3.45 meters in height , which is mounted on a cylindrical pedestal height of 6.8 meters, diameter of 1.88 meters of polished black labradorite on a square granite podium .

The monument is made of rare material - Karelian quartzite from it to build the mausoleum in Moscow.
